About Us

Our Approach to Property & Progress

King Properties Australia is a hands-on property business specialising in residential renovations, subdivisions, knockdown-rebuilds, and boutique developments.

We’re driven by our mission:

“Building Wealth, One Property at a Time.”

Our approach is grounded in strategic project selection, creative design, and delivering practical, low-maintenance living solutions that support long-term growth — for ourselves and those we collaborate with.

Who We Are

Founded by Linda, King Properties Australia is built on a foundation of integrity, adaptability, and real-world experience. Together with her husband, Linda brings decades of practical knowledge across property investment, business operations, construction, and people-first tenancy solutions.

As private landlords, they offer stable, flexible leasing arrangements and provide ongoing tenant support — with many residents choosing to stay in their properties for 5 to 8 years. Linda is passionate about guiding others towards home ownership, often mentoring tenants in maintenance and financial readiness.

Linda’s analytical background in engineering and mathematics underpins the strategic, detail-driven approach she brings to every project.

What We Do

We approach each opportunity as a project — and our lives reflect that same mindset. Some of the diverse projects we’ve managed include:

  • Buying, renovating, leasing, developing, and selling residential properties.
  • Designing and building homes (including as owner-builders, with Linda as site supervisor).
  • Running various small businesses and coaching practices.
  • Managing FIFO logistics, relocations, and major life transitions.
  • Investing across property and other asset classes.
  • Collaborating on property developments through strategic partnerships.

Evolving Our Strategy

Initially, our model focused on acquiring properties under $700K in the Gold Coast area for renovation and resale, with a target net profit of 20%.

As the market shifted, so did our plans. The current feasibility of high-end property projects ($2M+) sits outside our original model — but has opened opportunities to collaborate with industry colleagues already operating at that level.

We’ve since joined forces on-site with experienced developers to gain hands-on exposure, assist with logistics and strategy, and explore design concepts.

These experiences continue to expand our capabilities and inform future investment opportunities, especially through meaningful industry collaboration.

Collaboration Over Competition

While we’re not traditional lenders, we understand that cashflow gaps can delay or derail even the best projects. Where there’s alignment in values and transparency, we’re open to providing short-term funding to trusted colleagues with the same philosophy or by referrals, especially during times when we’re not actively running our own developments.

Our support may include:

  • Providing strategic funding on clearly defined terms, where aligned with our values and objectives.

  • Assistance with pre-settlement access, planning, and feasibility presentations.

  • Site assistance (clean-ups, trade quotes, materials selection, etc).

  • Strategic input informed by our training and professional networks.

  • Project Management, Documentation Review and Expense Reconciliations and Reporting
  • Crisis Management

All agreements are structured within a corporate framework and evaluated on a case-by-case basis, prioritising mutual success.
